Visit Urban Chestnut Breweries
Urban Chestnut operates two brewery locations in the city of Saint Louis–each offers a unique guest experience. Our original location, the Midtown Biergarten, features a traditional German Biergarten and a cozy taste room. Our second location, the Grove Bierhall, houses a large, industrial style Bierhall with long, communal tables–perfect for large groups and happy hours.
The Grove Bierhall
Our large industrial, bierhall offering a wide selection of UCBC bier offerings, as well as UCBC Bushelhead Hard Cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
Our kitchen is currently being rennovated in preparation for our new partners, Fordo's Killer Pizza! In the meantime, we are allowing guests to bring in their own food, and have a limited menu of sandwiches, Pretzel Boys pretzels, and Billy Goat Chips. Thank you for your patience during this transition!

The Midtown Biergarten
Our original location featuring a large outdoor Biergarten and intimate Taste Room.
Chef Frandsen is crafting delicious burgers, sandwiches, and salads, including a rotating sandwich of the month! Come try the Philly Cheesesteak during the month of July - you won't regret it. Vegan and vegetarian options available.

HALLERTAUER BRAUEREI
Our third brewery is located in the Hallertau region of southern Germany, near our Brewmaster's home town. Here we brew the Hallertauer Series - small batches of locally sourced, Bavarian bier.
