Private Events at The Grove Bierhall

The Bierhall

Located in St. Louis' Grove neighborhood, we utilize this brewery as the source of most of our beer production and packaging. The Bierhall is outfitted with rows of large communal tables a bar that is over 100 feet long! Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating on our terrace.

Happy Hours at the Grove Bierhall

Looking for a happy hour spot? Our Bierhall is great for walk-in groups of up to 30 people. No reservation fee required, but we ask that you call us at 314-222-0143 to notify us if you are bringing a large group.

Partial Bierhall/Terrace

This is a great space for weddings, happy hours, and celebrations of up to 120 guests. Reserve a portion of the Bierhall with the option to include the outdoor Terrace. Our elevated, outdoor terrace is located near the back of the Bierhall and overlooks The Grove neighborhood. Catering available through Sugarfire with advance notice. Beers may be purchased at the main bar. This space does not include a private bar/bartender.

Rental Fee: Peak days $600, Non-peak days $400

Grove Meeting Room

Host your next meeting at UCBC and make it a happy hour afterward! This space is equipped with a projector, microphone, and speakers and seats up to 60. This space has hosted many wedding showers, baby showers, and birthday gatherings as well! Catering available by Sugarfire with advance notice. Beer and drinks available at the main bar. This space does not include a private bar/bartender.

Rental Fee: Peak days $100, Non-peak $75, (Nonprofit Rate $50)

The Game Room

Perfect for your happy hour, celebration, or to watch the game, this event space features 5 televisions, a private bar and bartender, and it is connected to our front patio.

Up to 70 guests. Catering available by Sugarfire.

No fee, but we require the following minimum beverage spend (pre-tax and pre-gratuity):

Peak Days: $1,500 Non-peak Days: $1,000  

Beverages

Since UCBC is first and foremost a craft brewery, our drink offerings revolve around our beers. Beer selections vary throughout the year, so please speak with your coordinator regarding available styles. In addition to Urban Chestnut beers, a selection wines, seltzers, and soft drinks are available.

Food

Catering and counter-service food are available at our Grove location courtesy of Sugarfire.

Please Note: 

We will require a credit card on file to reserve an event space. In the case you need to cancel your event with less than 2 weeks advance notice, you will be charged a cancelation fee. A service charge of 20% will be added to all tabs over $200. Beverage minimums must be met before tax and gratuity is added. With the exception of full location rentals, private rental spaces are reserved for up to a 4-hour duration. Please contact us if you have further questions! We look forward to hosting your event!
