UCBC celebrates Circus Flora with Big Top Bavarian Lager
Two of St. Louis' favorite things are coming together this spring.
Urban Chestnut Brewing Company will introduce a new seasonal brew called Big Top Bavarian in honor of Circus Flora and its 33rd season. The beer will be sold in major local grocery chains and other venues where craft beer is sold beginning May 17, as well as on tap in The Big Top and other Kranzberg Arts Foundation venues throughout the Grand Center Arts District. Big Top Bavarian is a Helles style beer from a classic Bavarian lager recipe made with Hallertau Saphir hops and malt imported from Germany.“Urban Chestnut is proud to be the official beer of The Big Top, celebrating Circus Flora. Circus Flora is an amazing and unique St. Louis asset, and our goal in celebrating it is to help increase awareness of St. Louis’ longest standing annual circus, an experience my family and friends have enjoyed for years,” expressed David Wolfe, Co-Founder of Urban Chestnut.Circus Flora has dazzled St. Louis audiences young and old with its unique storytelling and world-class performers, becoming a beloved annual tradition.
