Three Tour Options

Self-Guided Tour

We offer a self-guided tour at our Grove Brewery & Bierhall free of charge. Ten stops lead you through our Bierhall, Fermentation Hall, and Packaging Hall, each featuring aspects of our brewing process along with our sustainability efforts from grain to glass. Ask the Retail Attendant at the Grove Brewery & Bierhall for more details!

Self-Guided Tour +TASTING

When you purchase a Self-Guided Tour +Tasting, besides the 10-stop Self-Guided Tour you receive a limited edition glass and four 5oz. samples of UCBC bier! Ask the Retail Attendant at the Grove Brewery & Bierhall for more details!

Guided Tour + Sampling

Join us every Saturday for a full, behind-the-scenes tour of our Bierhall, Fermentation Hall, and Packaging Hall, followed by a complimentary sampling. Tours are free, and they will cover the history of UCBC, our brewing, fermentation, & packaging processes, and how each is ingrained with our practices of sustainability. After the tour, enjoy a short sampling. Participants will also have the option to purchase our commemorative glass including an additional four 5oz. samples of his/her choice. Tours will last about an hour and will begin at 11:30am each Saturday.

Space is limited to 12 spots per tour so reservations are required. Please send an email to retaildesk@urbanchestnut.com or contact our Grove Brewery & Bierhall at 314-222-0143 (ext. 2) and include your name, a contact phone number, and the number of people in your party. Reservations must be received by midnight on the Thursday prior to the Saturday tour.

  • Safety regulations require that all guests MUST have completely enclosed shoes (tennis shoes, boots, etc) to participate in the tour. No one with open-toed shoes will be allowed to leave the Bierhall.
  • Children may participate in the tour, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • You must be 21+ and have a valid ID to participate in the tasting portion of the tour.
